The Seabasstard is late for team practice

The Seabasstard was late for practice today and was reprimanded by his coaches but hasn't yet been asked to sit a game due to being tardy. Rumour has it that The Seabasstard rolled into practice 10 minutes late with his game suit filled with mud after going to buy himself a new/used pickup truck that he found on facebook marketplace.

 

"Yeah i'll confirm Seabasstard was late for our practice being facing the Halifax 21st. It's been swiftly dealt with as our coaching staff has had a sit down with the player to discuss priorities. Hockey will be this young man's career and he'll have to start prioritizing hockey over some things.  The truck wasn't even a nice one at that and wasn't even worth risking being late to practice for as it was a shitbox, covered in rust and had dents all over. We were disappointed with The Seabasstard's thought process on this one but we won't make a mountain out of a moehill here and move on."

"Yeah... I was at a bus stop waiting for my bus to the team practice when I got distracted by a truck that was for sale for 800$, I had to go check it out. I ended up missing my bus to buy the thing but I decided to drive my new 2003 GMC Sierra over to practice instead. Now I had a few hiccups like the truck not starting initially that made me late but when I got 'er going I still made it to practice, just a few minutes late. It was worth it, the truck runs good but just a little tender lovin' care from yours truly. I least I'll no longer need to take the bus."

Next time, buy a gently used truck, find some mud, and strategically arrange it to look like you’ve been off-roading. Lol
