Askarov clearly adjusted to his new role nicely. After starting out mediocre, he has steadily improved pushing himself into the top 10 in both save percentage, and goals against average. He also sits among the top 10 in shut outs, and shots against. Proving he is improving after being a back up for the last 2 seasons.

The Wranglers have been inconsistent this season. Their young core is clearly going through growing pains. Its very clear that the roster, is needing some time before really being a threat to the rest of the league. However, they have shown they can play with the best so maybe it wont be too long before the team turns this up and becomes a solid contender. After trading away their first next season, it is clear they are not aiming to be bad again.

With the core ever improving, lots of picks with trades made, like shipping out Kramerev, and Stormsson the vets. They hope to at least be competitive the rest of the season improving every step of the way.

The Wrangles are hoping Askarov himself comes up big next season, and for the rest of his career.
