The Miami Marauders are set to face off against the San Diego Marlins in Game 7 of their VHLM quarter-final match up later this evening, and South Beach star Jan Hlozek guaranteed that his side would be the one to emerge victorious from this winner-take-all clash.

The Marlins and the Marauders have gone back and forth all series. The teams traded wins in throughout the first four games, leaving the series tied at 2-2. The Marauders took Game 5 to be within one win of advancing to the semi-finals, although the California club won out in Game 6 thanks to an impressive performance.

"Game 7 is ours. I can't see any other result. We will definitely bringing the Marauders fans more playoff hockey this season. I'm 100% sure about that," Hlozek told reporters ahead of the Game 7 clash.

The Marauders finished in third place in the regular season standings, although the VHLM playoffs have always been a place where upsets can happen. Second-seed Saskatoon Wild were eliminated in five games this time round, and Hlozek noted the competitiveness of the league.

"You've seen all season. Anyone can beat anyone on any given night. Nevertheless, we have the talent to win the cup, and we have no plans of stopping now," he said.
