An Offseason Appointment

"Please, come inside and make yourself comfortable." The voice of an unknown man from across the room. Deep. Mellifluous. 

 

The Terrible Trivium enters the scene, a dimly lit office. He's dressed casually, wearing jeans and a white t shirt with the Union Jack on it. We, the flies on the wall, simultaneously shake our heads at the almost cliche apparel and nod in approval, for Trivium is a man who has always identified himself as one of the faces of the London United hockey franchise. We watch as Trivium settles into an overstuff plush armchair, a strange thing to find in an office setting. It looks more like something from the living room of an overcompensating American on a sitcom.

 

"So what seems to be the problem?"

Trivium looks down at his hands, fiddles with them for a few moments, avoids eye contact. "Well, to be honest, it's a little embarrassing to talk about, Dr. Hardman..."
