Rough Start

Well the first week of the season is coming to an end and it is not exactly pretty for Jivere Zolnek and the Vancouver Wolves. With an extremely strong North American division, the team understood that given their current assets they should not go all-in on winning now and that has led to a young team being exposed to a division filled with players in their prime. With those in their prime thoroughly dominating the division, the Wolves are working on finding tiny improvements week over week and game over game in order to be at their best in the future. One may call this a rebuild, however the Wolves would consider this more of a growth stage. The team has the players they need to compete in the future, however they just need time to develop. This was said last year, is said this year, and hopefully would not need to be said following this season. With two first round picks amongst other assets, we can continue to draft young studs and potentially make free agency moves to find the final pieces and create a strong roster with a deep prospect pool. As a whole, this is a rough start to a potentially rough year, but the fruits of our labor will be seen in the future.
