John Baard Happy With New Start in Houston

John Baard is excited to get to a new start with the Houston Bulls. After his first game with the team he was quoted saying "I'm happy to just be here and have the opportunity to play some good hockey with a great group of guys. It was good to just get in there and start to find your sea legs; it's a little different each time settling into a new league. You just have to find your balance and settle into the new flow." This is after his first game against the Mississauga Hounds where Baard took a hooking penalty early on in the second period, while the Bulls were still only leading by a goal. This could have turned the tide for Mississauga if the Bulls stalwart penalty had not stopped them. This game leaves Houston 7th in the league and 4th in the western conference, with 29 points they are only two points behind the marlins and ready to make a playoff push.
