Ori's first goal is a game winner, in a game that featured 16 goals

In a game of the Minnesota Storm against the Las Vegas Aces, Ori got the winning goal in a game where the Storm scored 11 goals, 11! Aces manged 5 goals of their own for a total of 16 goals scored. 10 goals were scored in the first period alone, Storm would open the scoring and then the Aces would respond with two, the Storm would put three more in the back of the net to make it 4-2. Aces responded with one and the Storm would score another three, goal number six and ninth overall was scored by Jonathan Ori. The following two periods would see Vegas score first and Minnesota respond by putting to of their own in. Since Vegas got to five goals it gave Ori the game winner. Considering the Storm scored six more goals than Vegas the game winner isn't really important, but it's still a good way to score your first goal.

Ori has got slightly more consistent with scoring points, he's not up to 13 points in 36 games, 1 goal and 12 assists, four of those assists on the power play. Ori is also the prime faceoff guy, even though he doesn't lead in faceoffs taken, he's second overall with 714, his percentage is at 62.32, higher than anyone else on the team, even with those less than 100 taken. Ori is showing the improvement any coach would want and we look forward to what he can do in the playoffs.
