"Well it's been a few weeks since my accident, It's great to finally be able to turn my neck around again. I had whiplash so bad that it was hard to do my shoulder checks during a play to see who was coming after me and it affected my play a little. I'm not saying that's the only reason why I haven't been playing so well but it doesn't help."

 

Despite being selected with the 3rd overall pick of the S78 draft, The Seabasstard hasn't been able to back up that high draft stock with solid play as of yet. He's not among the league's top ten in rookie scoring, unlike teammate and 2nd overall selection Hard Markinson, who's leading the league's rookies with 29 points so far. The Seabasstard by comparison hasn't even managed to put up ten points yet, and currently sits with 9 points in 37 games. Some may argue that The Seabasstard's role on the team is not the role of a scorer but that of a defensive specialist as he's been logging a lot of penalty killing minutes and hasn't been used much on the Power Play. Even then The Seabasstard is -10 for the year in the plus/minus catagory. 

 

" It's been frustrating I won't lie. This is the first bit of adversity I've had in my career and I've done a poor job handling it. I got used to being a high impact player during my time in the VHLM and never really had hard time there. Here in the VHL it's a completely different game, everyone is faster and stronger and I got to get my head out of my ass and start putting some serious work into my game. I'd like to get some more ice time but I haven't done anything to be able to deserve it and my coach is making the right call and I don't blame him, it's on me to work hard and earn myself some ice time. "
