Rest Days

A rest day is upon us and Riga Reign is taking advantage of that. Justin Lose is also taking some time to himself to help focus for the next few weeks. Riga is currently in a position where they can steal a playoff spot in a grueling EU conference. We spoke with Justin Lose about the rest day and what he thinks about the current situation for Riga.

 

"It's a sprint to the finish right now towards the playoffs. It's still a bit early to start thinking about playoffs but obviously that's the goal for every team this season. The EU conference is super competitive too. We have to keep winning to stay with the pack. I'm not trying to think about my point production as much. I'm much more focused on what the team is doing right now." - Lose on the current standings

 

"Rest days are key for me. I absolutely love rest days in the VHL. It gives me time to relax a bit and enjoy some family time. This also gives me some time to review footage for upcoming games too. I want an edge to keep up the scoring pace and winning games for Riga." - Lose on rest days
