Talking about the VHLE

Hurray for last minute posts am I right!?!? So for theme week it's about the VHLE which I'm not very knowledgeable about. So I gotta come up with random crap to talk about to equal or pass 500 words. How about we start with some logo talk? I've done two list of VHL and VHLM logo rankings and with the VHLE I'll be able to make a list just for it, maybe I'll throw defunct logos into that one as well. After that I can do a massive list combining all of them. I do think it'd be cool if they remade the old logos or take an even new direction with them, of course some new teams means new logos as well which is always exciting. I would like it if all the old teams could come back for the long timers here as well for new users to experience, but it's hard to argue against new cities and locations to. The potential to fill peoples wishes for teams in Europe and I hope just hope the higher ups are listening to everyone.

 

Bringing another division in does make things sorta complicated, it's very easy to understand that you have the big league and minor league, an intermediate league can seem odd I imagine. I know in real life there's plenty of leagues of all skill levels but from a sim league stand point I could see some extra confusion with the E, granted I also have not gone on any other sim league. As long as everyone is willing to explain though I don't think this will be to confusing. The trade off though is another draft for people to enjoy and another place for people to improve their player in while not being stuck at 250 or going up and having a rough rookie season. I personally am very happy for having longer player careers to, and hey maybe someone spends two season in the E.

 

It is crazy to, to see the VHL expand in this way, having joined in S69 I've seen what, like four or five teams join overall? (VHL and M) I mean your still adding new teams but your making a whole league just for themselves, it's still expanding just in a different way. I am excited though even with the fact that I myself won't really get to experience it for a while since Ori is a season 79 draftee and if I recall the E starts in the new decade of the 80's. Ori's career, if I don't cut it short or anything would end in season 86 and honesty I'm think after Ori's career I might take a small break, just a season or two so it could be close to ten seasons before I even have anything to do with the VHLE. It's something I'll look forward to and I'm interested to see how it preforms, I presume there will still be high turnover rates but will it be slower? or maybe catch more player that burn out or just slow down and don't get to 350 fast. I think it'll probably have slightly lower turnover rate than the M.
