Aberg saving lives off the ice

Omi Aberg is Ottawa Lynx young center, he is being crazy on ice but also off the ice.

 

A few days ago there was a big story running, how some person in Ottawa's streets saved a woman when she went for a run but got followed by some weird men. This person turns out to be Omi Aberg and he walked this poor woman back home to her own house, where she was back in safety, and called the police. In the end, it turns out those weird men were her husband and his friends, who just wanted to take this woman's husband home to her, but actually she got scared from them and started running. It's good that it ended like that and everyone can look back at that and laugh about it and not have a bad accident happen to someone.

Aberg still got a lot of media attention today, but he said that he did what everyone would have done - danger or not danger, help fellow citizens out.
