Hockey has been there my whole life. It’s gotten me through both high and lows. It’s not an easy sport, and I work day and night to make sure I’m the best player I can be. Something that I really want in this league is recognition. I want people to look at me and be able to say that I’m someone they would love to have play for them. When awards are being voted on, I want to be a contender in the future. After being the 28th pick in my draft class, I have continued to work, and I am now one of the top players from my class. I always believed in myself, and I’ve had a great management team to help me develop into the player I am today. So today I am saying thank you to Calgary, thanks for the motivation, the laughs, helping me find out areas I needed to work on, and boosting spirits when the team was down. I am looking forward to seeing what this season brings us and continuing to make the Wrangler fans proud.
