OSLO, NORWAY - Although we are only 13 games or so into Season 39, far too early to see anything conclusive, the Oslo Storm have been putting up a surprisingly large fight against their foes. They currently sit at second in the conference. However, sitting at second really doesn't mean much this season because the European conference in the VHLM is really quite weak this season. In fact, being at first in the European conference actually only places them at fifth in the entire league.

Despite being projected as a shit team, the Storm players have been putting up solid numbers. Recently named Captain, Vladimir Komarov alongside his partner Lloyd Light, have been commanding the Oslo blue line and shutting down top players from across the league. Up front, winger Christoph Klose, alongside Petrov, have been challenging enemy defence with surprisingly strong offensive power.
