"Well the offseason this year was a long one with not making the playoffs and all this year so I got to pick up a few hobbies to keep me busy. I didn't remain in Moscow but I flew back home to Sudbury for the offseason, where I got a chance to fish and drink beer with my old friends around a campfire. There are quite a few lakes in the region and stretches of logging/old mining roads to explore if your into ATVing. I also got into a new hobby in which I just started. I got really into restoring old trucks, I bought one off an old farmers in the region, I'm investing my time and money in it and I'll then hopefully sell it for a profit but I won't lie to ya it's hard to let them go after you invested so much hard work into it.

Don't worry though, I haven't been slacking off with my offseason training regimen. My plan is time come into training camp a little bit bigger and I've been really working hard with my offseason power skating coach to try and improve my foot speed on the ice. I'm hoping to have a breakout season next year and i'm working hard to make sure that happens. "
