Eagles makes the cut

Tom Eagles was announced as a member of Team Merc for the S78 World Cup. This will be Tom's first time representing a team on the World Cup stage.

 

"It's exciting, it's always fun to represent your country on the big stage and im happy to get some few games in before the VHL season starts " Tom said " I think we have a pretty solid team, I see some familiar names and we will do our best to bring home another gold"

Team Merc recently got ranked last out of the 6 teams participating in the tournament. Even so, anything can happen on the world stage and the Mercs have a very solid roster with players that have been known to perform under pressure.

 

The Mercs will play Team Canada in back to back games and this will be the first real test for the team. If they can pull out a win out of these two games, it will give the team a boost in morale which can help them get into the medal rounds.
