Thoughts of the week:

 

• Madison was signed to a 4 year extension with Calgary! With the fourth year having a player option. I am super excited to get the chance to stay with Calgary for a good amount of my career. I am extremely excited for the future of the team. I can not wait to see what we can do in the coming seasons.Lucky them they aren't getting rid of me anytime soon. I'm sure everyone is very excited about it.
• VHLE team names have been announced! My personal favorite team name is the Paris Revolution. It has been a lot of fun to see different people give their take on logo designs. Some of my personal favorites have come from @KaleebtheMighty. He has some really cool designs made and even made a baguette one for Paris which honestly what else could possibly be better. They have also released gm sign ups for the six teams. There are a lot of good candidates out there. It will be exciting to see who is picked and who will start off being gms of this whole new league.
• The draft for both vhl and vhlm is coming up soon. It's an exciting time around the league with anticipation for who will be drafted where. I am really excited to draft Halifax this season and bring in our future. It will be great to bring some new guys into the locker room and onto the team. I can not wait to really get started on building the team and seeing what we can do next season.
