Ori selected for team Canada, ready for draft and saying goodbye to Minny

Recommended Posts

This off-season has been a very busy one for the almost 22 year old forward, the Minnesota storm went to the finales leaving him emotionally exhausted after playing his heart for the team and he has less time to re-gather himself as he was selected for team Canada, top that off with the draft two and we're sure his head is spinning. He were lucky enough to sit down with Ori to ask him how he's doing.

"Thank you for taking time to talk with us Ori, lets go in order with saying goodbye to the Storm first, how has that been for you?"

"It's been very tough, you know your only gonna spend one or two seasons there and you know that chances are half the roster is gonna be different if you are there for two seasons. I made some really good bonds with people there, It was an honor to play in the last team that Mr. Rayzor put together, I know for my agent, Sam Rook who talked and worked with Rayzor it was special for him to have me on that team. The finale minutes in that locker room were filled with tears and I'm gonna miss it. Working with Laine was great and I wish him the best with the franchise."

"I'm sure GM Laine is going to miss having you there, a champion in the face-off circle. How's it feel to be selected for team Canada?"

"It feels great, I'm very honored to play for my home country, I have some pretty strong national pride so you can bet I'll be playing my hardest out there to!"

"Lastly we are just a few hours away from the draft, how you feeling about it?"

"Nervous of course, it's hard not to look at what scouts say about me and knowing GM's have talked to Rook about drafting me, I know I'm the top center in the draft and it makes me want to work even harder to not let them down, it feels like a lot of eyes are on me because there's no one to hide behind so to speak."

"That's very understandable, we wish you the best Ori and were looking forward to seeing where you go."

"I am to, thank you."
