Saku Drafted and Ready

Tonight, we saw the happening of the S79 VHLM Dispersal Draft. There was a big mix-up of players finding their new teams, and it's going to be very interesting to see what players gel with who on their respective teams. Saku Kotkakoivu was drafted at 5th overall to the Mexico City Kings, who look to have a very strong roster on paper heading into the season.

 

 

The City Kings have a great lineup of 3 solid lines, with 4 defenseman and a stellar goaltender. With some growth, some chemistry, and some can-do attitude, this team has what it takes to win it all.

 

"I can't wait to step on the ice and help lead this team to the top. I had a fun introduction into the VHLM last season, but this one is where I believe I will make my mark. I can't wait to get into the flow of things and light it up out there against every team. We have what it takes to win a championship here, and I will do all that I can to help us achieve that feat."
