Welcome to another episode of DDYW! Can someone turn the laugh track on please? Ok, yeah that'll do.

Today, we will be looking at some fun facts from the NHL! Lets get to it.

 

1. HOLY SHIT IT'S A BUG AHHH-

In 1991, The NHL had its first outdoor hockey game in Vegas between the Kings and the Rangers. It went pretty well... until the bugs realised they had tickets. During the last 4 minutes oof the 3rd period, grasshoppers and black flies just swarm the ice, and this is why you can't bring your pet bug to a hockey game folks. Especially in Vegas.

 

2. All that flies must perish

The Buffalo Sabres were the only team to have killed a live aminal on the ice. RIP that one random bat at a Sabres game.

 

3. teehee rubber teehee puckies

The San Jose Sharks were almost called the Rubber Puckies. Other Enteries were: The Salty Dogs, The Blades, and the Screaming Squids. Which one would you vote for?

Now that's a good example of trolling.

 

4. AYY LETS GO WE WO- oh fu-

The Maple Leafs once threw the Stanley Cup into fire. WHAT?! You see, this is why you guys aren't allowed to win cups anymore. My god.

 

5. Beta moving

The Leafs and Oilers almost traded entire cities. The Edmonton Maple Leafs. The Toronto Oilers- ok, that's it, we are done here.
