Goalies coming into form for Malmo

Malmo’s goalies have been the backbone of the defense for them this season, with arguably the best goalie tandem in the league in Tretiak and Carson. Let’s start with the backup. Carson hasn’t seen much action this year, with only 4 games so far. He’s posted a solid 3-1 record while having a Sv% of .912 and a GAA of 2.51. Carson is bound to see more action this season, with the minimum amount of backup games still not close to the requirements. Tretiak had a rocky start to the season in terms of underlying numbers. But he’s tied for the most wins as a goalie with a 20-8 record. He’s slowly pulled back his Sv% to .919, which is just barely out of the top 10 for the leaderboard. He holds a GAA of 3.1, which is still solid considering Malmo had a rocky defence until Kaberle joined. He still has a chance to pull this stat back into the top 10 by the end of the season.
