Talli Talk 6 | Awards and Stuff

Even though I can’t claim extra theme week TPE for this, I’m gonna use the topic of VHL awards as a writing prompt for this week’s Talli Talk. I won three awards with Patrik Tallinder, and have yet to win any with Nils. Hopefully that will change as soon as this season with a Continental Cup though.

 

With Patrik, I captured the S74 scoring title and two team awards. One was a Continental cup with Riga in S72, and the other was a Victory Cup with Calgary in S75. With the Hounds in the M, we almost took home the Founders Cup as well.

 

With Nils, I could end up being a nominee for the Dustin Funk Trophy, after more than doubling my point output from year one. I know I won’t win it because elf a runaway favourite, but it’s always nice to hear your name in that conversation. Regardless, my sights are set on a particular team trophy, so the talk of individual awards will need to take a backseat from here.
