Eagles ties career best for goals

Tom Eagles has turned it around over the last 15 games. For the first 50ish games Tom has been struggling with his play but now he has been on fire.

Yesterday he tied his career best for goals with 13 and has the opportunity to set a new career best if he can manage to score in the next 5 games.

 

" It's definitely a great feeling when you're producing, I feel like I have really grounded myself over the last little while and just started playing basic hockey. This has helped me going after a really long cold streak and I can reach a new career goal total which would be great " said Tom " I feel like my game is picking up at just the right time and we can go into the playoffs on a high note"

Most of Tom's goal has come from the power play (10 goals) where he has been excelling with the extra space on the ice. He is tied with Luke Thornton for most powerplay goals this season
