WhiskyJack 18
JP, also known as John-Pierre is an eighteen year old born in Mississauga. Growing up in Mississauga his favorite team is Toronto. He grew up with hockey, learning how to skate at the age of Four. He always liked the defensive positions, not caring to be the most flashy player on the ice but cared more about winning and helping his team win. His biggest influence is his father Adam, who is currently a coach for a college team. JP and his best childhood friend, Mason Jones, often went to the local rink together after school. Mason was four years his elder and offered a lot of good advice to JP to help him early on. Advice that JP still remembers to this day and makes him strive for greatness. JP is the oldest sibling of his parent's four children. He made sure to be a reliable person that his siblings could look up to. Leadership came naturally for him, as he helped teach his siblings how to skate alongside their father, always encouraging them and pointing out their weaknesses, teaching them how to improve on those weaknesses. In Highschool after an incident involving one of JP's teammates he began taking Mixed Martial Arts classes at the age of sixteen. Learning how to protect his teammates if necessary. He now plays more of a Grinder role, having mastered the role throughout his highschool playing career, learning how to lay the body and stick up for his smaller teammates. He's not afraid to black shots or drop the gloves and will rarely back down from a challenge. His highschool hockey team was one of the most highly praised junior teams in Ontario, having a ton of high-end prospects during JP's playing career. He figured that college wasn't for him and heard that his friend Mason was signing up for a league known as the Victory Hockey League. He decided to follow suit, hoping to play alongside his childhood friend. The two were signed to separate teams, Mason being part of the Steel organization whereas JP went to the Warriors. The two remain friends, but both know the goal is to be drafted and won't go easy on eachother. John-Pierre wouldn't have it any other way, hoping to beat his former mentor and prove that he's the better hockey player. Upon receiving the invitation to play for the Warriors JP put a lot of time and effort into training hoping to make a good impression in the league. JP hopes to play for Toronto Legion in the VHL one day. Masu Chan 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/107881-jp-junior-review/ Share on other sites
