Malmo finished their series against HC Davos, winning it 4-2. The start of the series was a bit tougher then what was expected, with games seemingly going back and forth until Malmo made it 2 wins in a row with wins in games 5 and 6. Game 6 finished low scoring with Malmo winning it 2-0. This is not very Malmo esc, as Malmo have been in high scoring battles a lot this year, but they have shown from time to time that they can lock up the D zone nicely. Sosa and Odinsson both lead Malmo in points with 9 points a piece. Telker took a slight step back offensively then what we’re used to, getting 5 points in 6 games, but he says not because of bad play. “I think I played pretty well, the offensive came now and then, but you always have to focus on defence a lot more when it comes to the playoffs.” Telker said.
