With the season coming to an end, prospects on the winning teams are looking to fight for a cup, however the rest of the prospects are looking to get some medals themselves and with the start of the Junior Showcase Tournament, this gives these prospects another opportunity. This tournament is going to be a very interesting tournament to watch with each team having a very good roster. I like to mention the 60+ overall players, and mention the top goalies on each team as well as the overalls in player, goaltending, and team categories.

Brigate is the first team we will look at, they have some top end prospects in Kyosti Karjalainen, Brendan Marner, and Austin Towbaker. Each player gives good high end skills for the team and for the rest of the players, they give a decent amount of depth, with the players on the team giving an average of 53 overall. The goaltending is not too crazy however, with a decent Mike Hroch to defend the net with an emergency spare. The goalies average 45 overall with a team average of 52 overall.

The Royals is the next team to look at, Biggie Cheese being the top guy on the player squad, with a really deep team backing him up, the first line will be good and a really good second line, with the other lines also giving good depth. The player overalls are a great 53 overall, and a good goaltending group of Ali Des Aves as the main guy with an emergency backup, the goalie group overall average is 47 with a team average of 52 overall.

The Steels are the next interesting team to look at, they don't have a 60+ overall player, however, Juice Box is the guy to watch on the team. The depth on the team is decent averaging at 52, however the goaltending is something to watch when it comes to this team, with a starter and backup being equivalently good; Wiley Blanchette and Thomas Price. Both are 48 overall goalies, meaning the overall goalie average is 48 overall. The team average is 52 overall.

The Warriors are the final team to look at in the upcoming tournament, without having a 60+ overall player the guy to watch on the team is Nico Pearce. With a good first and second line it should be fun to watch how this team's depth will affect the tournament since they also have a player average of 52. However the best goalie we have seen so far in this tournament is on the Warriors and that is The Red Menace at 56 overall. An emergency backup is his backup, but it is going to be a good ride for The Red Menace goalie if all goes right. The goaltending average is the highest at 50 overall and a team average at 52 overall.

It will be interesting to watch each team, as they all seem to value different things on their teams. Brigate seems to favor top end prospects for first lines, Royals seems to like a mix of everything with some depth, good goaltending, and some good high end players. The Steels like the depth with players and goaltending, and finally the Warriors valued the top end goaltending with pretty good player depth. I am really interested to see where each strategy will go in this tournament and I'm excited to see who is going to be the top players from each team.
