Ori is having a busy off-season despite not playing in the playoffs

Recommended Posts

Even though Helsinki didn't make the playoffs one of their young players, Jonathan Ori, has been very busy this off-season. He was selected by the Bratislava Watchmen to play in the draft tournament for them and while the team initially had a rough start they ended up finishing third, with a record of 5-3-2 for 12 points, just one point behind second and first. Ori finished third in points on the team with 16, just two points behind leader Noah Mashford. Ori scored just one goal but had 16 assists, six of those coming on the power play. He took the most faceoffs on the team with 462 and won 64.50 percent of them.

Recently the team Canada roster was announced and Ori will once again be playing extra hockey, maybe it's a good thing Helsinki didn't make the playoffs as Ori would likely be exhausted from all the games. Some of his teammates include the like of left winger Kyle Peace, right winger Mikey Markov, defensemen Corey Kitson, and goalie Alex Parise. Team Canada has an excellent center in Jonathan Ori and he'll be hoping to lead the team to victory. We were able to get a quote from Ori "I'm honored to be selected to represent Canada, I'm pretty passionate about being Canadian and I'll be driven by that to preform." We won't have to wait long to see the teams hit the ice.
