Malmo offseason swirl

With a bit of uncertainty in the air on Odinsson’s future, Malmo could have a busier, or not so busy off-season. With the assumption he stayed another year, it would certainly tighten up the cap for the Nighthawks. If he were to leave, there would some cap flexibility in terms of what positions Malmo could upgrade. Malmo’s defence could use another decent top 4 defender, and I think they could get this regardless of how the Odinsson situation plays out, depending on the price of course. Rumour has it that Telker is liking his time in Malmo, and has asked for a possible extension on his contract. Telker has already set an extremely high bar, and even if he cruises through the rest of his career with a couple more sub 100 point seasons, could top Malmos all time point leaders, and possibly many more categories as well. In terms of trades, Malmo could make a few minor shuffles to even out some positions of weakness, but we will see what Hylands and the management team do there.
