Way too early VHLM predictions

In this article I'm gonna be making calls way too early so that if I'm right I can say I told you so to everyone or I can ignore this and pretend like it never happened if I'm wrong. I will be predicting the regular season conference champions, which teams will make the finals and which team will win it all. Let's get started.

 

Eastern Conference Champions: The East is looking like it will be the weaker conference this year, however there are still some great teams to watch. The clear favourites are the Storm and the Lynx for this title. It will be a close battle but I believe the Lynx will be the most consistent throughout the season and lead that conference.

 

Eastern Conference Champions - Ottawa Lynx

 

Eastern Conference Champions: The battle in the west is going to be much more competitive. It's still anyones title to win. However, the Rush have looked strong and it's hard for me to see someone being better than them this regular season in the entire league. 

 

Western Conference Champions - Yukon Rush

 

Finals: I could definitely see some upsets come playoff time but I really think the best teams will make their way to the final 2. In the east I think the conference champions prove themselves and make it to the end. In the West I think Yukon falls just short at the hands of Las Vegas who takes their place in the finals.

 

Finals - Ottawa Lynx vs. Las Vegas Aces

 

Champions: I am a big believer that defence wins championships and no team has been more defensively sound than Ottawa so far this season. I would be happy to see this final.
