Early season thoughts

With the season underway, all the teams are finding their footing. The LA Stars are looking to stabilize their games as the team has a close eye on what's going on and where we are lacking. It looks promising going forward and we should start to see a few more wins from the team. Stamen has taken the reins and is finally putting up the numbers everyone knew he could. Pines has been huge on defense and on the score sheet often. Our new players are meshing in really well and it looks like the front office knew what they were doing with the players they picked up.

 

Merrick is showing his age but has some kick left in him. I think he will finish his career on a high note once he gets his old body in game shape. It sucks to get old in this sport. You have to take on different roles to help the team. That is what good players do, adapt.

 

Our goal of course is to win the cup. We would, at this point, be a huge underdog. I think towards the end of the season, we will have our game in order and finely tuned going into the playoffs. It's a great time to be on the LA Stars.
