SpicyGecko 100
Welcome back to Inside the Mind, a column written by Darsh Albesh that takes a deep dive into the VHLM and the home team of the Philadelphia Reapers. In this edition, Reapers coach Jesper Jellington tells us his thoughts on the performance of his team at the start of the season. In an interview with Darsh Albesh of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Jesper had this to say: "The season so far has been far from ideal. We have gone 2-7-1 in our first 10 games which is embarrassing to say the least. I told the players after morning skate today that we need these next wins. Our three recent signings have been good additions but we need to keep the puck out of the net. Our defensemen need to step up and our forwards need to play a little more defensively to make up for the AI they have filling out the majority of our lineup. Having an AI goalie doesn't help either as they can only stop so many pucks before they turn into a pile of parts and dust. There are plenty more games to go and plenty of opportunities to improve our record but that won't come without teamwork and dedication." Join us next time on Inside The Mind for another deep dive behind the scenes of the VHLM.
