MetalToday 266
The Ottawa Lynx has one hell of a team drafts by 16z and Matt Thunder. Drafting some top end talent to help them progress in the league, from the first overall goalie, The Red Menace to Greg Romain as their last pick in the draft at 66 overall. The team was going to be known as a top end dynasty, but it was a shock that it happened so quickly. Ottawa even stacked up on draft picks this season, but the next question to ask is should they trade for better players? Or should they attempt to chase the cup with the next upcoming prospects as well? With 17 games played they have won 16 of them, only losing 1 game, and are currently killing it on a 12-game winning streak. The Red Menace was shown to be a huge add as he only has 44 goals against and 2.59 goal against average and save percentage of .905, simply amazing. However, this would not be an article without mentioning Austin Towbaker, the right-wing player leading the team with 47 points and leading the league with 24 goals while Juice Box, the top defense on Ottawa, collects 15 goals and 44 points in 17 games, simply AMAZING. This team does not need much help right now, and this was the team to draft the player with the most TPE in the S80 draft 44th overall he was forced to the “E”, but can anyone even imagine how good the team would be if he was able to stay back? I would wonder if Ottawa could even lose a game. In the end, Ottawa is a current powerhouse that doesn’t need much more to allow them to succeed, they are success. diacope 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/109258-the-ottawa-beasts/ Share on other sites
