Mexico Staying Strong

Tape-to-Tape

Recommended Posts

The Mexico City Kings are well within the playoffs already and are fighting with Las Vegas and Houston for the 2nd to 4th seed in the conference. 2nd or 3rd is where they hope to finish and avoid playing the Yukon Rush who have lost only 1 regulation game this season in 23 games. Mexico added a new starting goalie and a 4th defender this week to help out the team depth.

Wattson Power continues to play well in his first season. He now has 10 goals and 22 assists for 32 points in 23 games. He is a 21 +/- and has 51 hits and 28 blocked shots. Wattson is looking for another big week of personal development as he wants to become a player that is relied on and help Mexico even more with their season. Wattson is confident that Mexico is headed in the right direction to make some real noise the rest of the way.
