Preobrazhensky Shines/Blockbuster Acquisitions for the Marlins

San Diego - Some key moves have been made from the San Diego front office this past week. One of the biggest moves was when they signed goaltender Tadhg Byrne, before the signing, the Marlins were struggling to find their goaltender of the future. But the goaltender woes are no more! Marlins have finally found the goaltender they were looking for in Tadhg Byrne. On top of that, other notable signings include Jake Lerner (RW), Nick Sansone (RW) and Charles Williams (RW). Making great improvements on offence as well. 

 

Other news to tell you, Sergey Preobrazhensky has been on a tear as of late. Posting 8 points in his last 4 games, if he continues this streak he’ll be one of the fiercest competitors in San Diego. Overall, he’s racked up 31 points (10 goals, 21 assists,) with 31 hits and 19 shots blocked all in just 29 games played. You can tell that the Marlins found a generational talent in Sergey. 

 

Although the Marlins playoff hopes are almost certainly gone, it’s very enjoyable to watch the young stars on the team. This is just the beginning for all of these players as they hope to find a spot in the VHL someday. If they all keep up their performance as of late, there is nothing they can’t do!
