Jason Lajeunesse has been hooked on hockey ever since he saw his dad play, and when his dad would take him to a lot of Sarnia Sting games in his hometown. Jason had his focus set on one thing, going pro. Anything less wasn't satisfactory. Although his childhood was a struggle, his parents couldn't afford to pay for AAA team fees, even though he knew he could be the best on that team. So he had to play AA. Where he put up 2 PPG for three seasons. But when he turned 15, he took his chance. He did everything he can to pay for tryouts. He payed, and eventually he made the team.

15 Years Old | Alliance AAA | Lambton Sting | 30 GP 45 Pts

He had an outstanding year in AAA, putting up 1.5 PPG. This is where he started laying the groundwork for a great hockey career. He was only 5'2" and 115 lbs.

16 Years Old | GOJHL Jr. B | Sarnia Legionnaires | 50 GP 30 Pts

This year he moved up and played for his Hometown teams affiliate, this meant if he gets called up, he's playing for the team he's dreamed of playing for his entire life. He put on some muscle weight and some height finally. He is now 5'5" and 140 lbs.

17 Years Old | OHL | Sarnia Sting | 68 GP 30 Pts

Jason put up decent numbers with his first year with his hometown team. Just a few more years.

18 Years Old | OHL | Sarnia Sting | 68 GP 45 Pts

19 Years Old | OHL | Sarnia Sting | 68 GP 50 Pts

20 Years Old | OHL | London Knights | 68 GP 40 Pts

This year was a decrease in points. But he didn't see it as a bad thing, he saw it as opportunity for improvement. Due to him being close to overage, the Sting traded him to the stacked Knights team.

After this year, it was finally time he moved up, he was drafted 5th Round, 54th Overall by the Ottawa Lynx in the VHLM Draft.

21 Years Old | VHLM | Ottawa Lynx | 72 GP 17 Pts

Jason Lajeunesse struggled in his first year in the VHLM. But in these next couple years, he is determined to be the top of the pack in the VHL.

Now, at 22 Years Old he is playing for the Ottawa Lynx, he was drafted in the 4th Round, 50th Overall in the VHL Draft by the New York Americans, and is a top prospect within the organization.(Jason Lajeunesse in Sarnia)
