The Long Haul

DAVOS - The current regime in Davos is not exactly suited to failure, with the Dynamo having reached the playoffs in each of their last four seasons, with three of them ending in the Continental Cup Finals. Naturally, when the defending Continental Cup champions struggle out of the gate, people will take notice. Teams with less experienced and seasoned players might waiver under the burden of their own expectations, but this is not the case in Davos.

"You know what, people have always doubted this team," said Thomas Landry, right wing and captain of the HC Davos Dynamo. "Seems as if they're the ones flat on their face when all is said and done and that's certainly been the case so far this year. Things started out rough, but we've gotten it together and made sure the Victory Hockey League knows who's in charge again."

In a fitting twist of irony, the Dynamo are on a two-game losing streak as of the time of print. They will be Calgary tonight hoping to turn that around against the Wranglers.
