I think it's safe to say that the Yukon Rush are the best team in the VHLM regular season this season. And if the next four games turn out favorably, they may be one of the best teams of all-time, in the top five at least. But there is one stat that they have dominated in throughout this season, more so than any other team in VHLM history, home victories. As of now the 33 home wins that Yukon has are good enough for the lead in home wins in a season. This is more than the powerhouse teams like the S71 Lynx and the S69 Wild (who had 68 wins). Their only regulation home loss came at the hands of the Lynx and their only overtime loss at the hands of the Houston Bulls. This dominance on home ice should prove a challenge for teams in the playoffs as the Rush will have that advantage in every matchup. However, considering some of the recent Founder's cup victories, home ice may not be a good thing (I know it ain't for my favorite team).
