Yun Chiang just finished his season in Miami after Miami fell 4-0 in their series against Yukon. During that series Chiang was held fairly quiet, but he did have a very successful first year of professional hockey. After signing with Miami early in the season, Chiang quickly became their elite scoring forward playing 68 games and leading the team in goals, assists, points, and game winning goals. This outstanding performance has really raised Chiang's draft stock where he currently stands at a fringe 1st round pick. He has greatly improved in all aspects of the game this season and has truly solidified himself as a strong two-way forward with an impressive +/- with a team that struggled defensively all season. Chiang will begin his next season playing in the VHLE where he likely will hope to continue his success and become a regular VHL player the following season. If he is able to continue his production in the VHLE, whatever team drafts him will be in a great position to threaten a playoff position or even cup contending if they can find other pieces to complement Chiang.
