To most teams and players, off-season means the time between the end of the regular season or playoffs to the start of a new season. For players and fans in Seattle, this whole ongoing season has been an off-season. The playoffs are still going on and there is no end in sight. We here in Seattle have been resting for weeks now, maybe even months. Hard to keep track of time when you don't have to be anywhere.

I have been thinking about this season a lot, and I have concluded that I should have pretended to be injured, so I could have started true relaxation earlier. I think the industry term for it is ''Reverse Tampa''. Instead of skipping much of the regular season and returning just in time for playoffs, you play most of the regular season, but then skip the end of regular season and playoffs.

I have tried to keep active and work out. The training camp in Seattle is going to be a tough one. I want to return in good shape, so I don't have to stress about the camp that much.
