Rush make Waiver Claim on Defenceman Jaime Hill

All her life, Jaime Hill dreamed of someday getting a chance to play in the VHL. It looks like she may just be taking a huge step towards that dream- this evening, the Yukon Rush made a waiver claim on the upcoming defender. When asked how she felt about her dreams rapidly becoming reality, she had this to say-

“Words cannot even begin to describe how excited I am at this opportunity to possibly play for the Rush, it's a dream come true. The fact that I've got so much interest from the team that they've claimed me even before the draft is just an incredible feeling. There's rumours going around that I may only have been claimed because my longtime boyfriend Sachimo Zoidberg was claimed by the Rush as well, but I plan on doing all I can to prove myself and make sure that I'm an asset to the team based on my own merits. My goal is to become a force to be reckoned with in the VHL.”

 

 

Regardless of the team, the young defender promises to bring some great things to the league. Keep an eye on this one, folks.
