Almost off-season ramblings

Did I mention in last week's VHL.com article how much I really hate the 150 words of drivel.  If not, well, there you have it.  If so, I have reinforced my very, very humble opinion.  Don't mistake my meaning here.  I only refer to what I write.  There are many other very creative contributors whose articles are a joy to read.  In any event, the time is passing very slowly for Isau DaMoose and it isn't really yet the off-season.  From the rumours that have been circulating, it seems that after struggling to make the playoffs for several seasons, despite a star-studded line-up, the GM of the Riga Reign plans to tear down the existing team and start fresh.  So, how did Isau feel about this possible turn of events:

Isau:  Well,  I am disappointed that we had such a bad run for my time thus far in Riga.  However, I do appreciate what GM Hedgehog is trying to do.  He wants a competitve team that will make a deep playoff run.  The existing team has proved that it was unable to accomplish that.  As for me, personally.  Depreciation has set in and I have likely 2 productive seasons left.  I intend to contribute as much as possible to whatever team I Play for, whether that continues to be Riga, or elsewhere.
