Off-Season Ramble

So another off season.  This one wasn’t quite so long as Isau managed to get in a few games in the World Cup with Team Mercenaries.  Isau is commencing his seventh season in the VHL(M) and depreciation is taking its toll on Isau’s skill set.  The Reign gave some consideration to trading Isau, but the market for him was pretty soft.  As a result, he once again, signed with Riga.  Personally, I like this.  In fact, I wouldn’t mind if Isau finished his career in Riga.  It would be pretty cool to have spent one’s entire career on the same team that drafted you !!

 

As well, along with depreciation, has come an ambivalence about writing longer articles, or creating graphics.  The motivation to do these things is far greater when your player is developing as opposed to fighting off the depreciation takeaways.  The league is still a lot of fun and I look forward to see how things develop over the next two seasons. Go Riga !!
