ng1291 15
Alf Larsson 6'2 210 lbs. Alf Larsson was born and grew up in a small town in Sweden. Alf learned to skate from an early age of 3 on a pond near the town. One day a group of kids were playing a casual game of hockey on that pond, so he asked if he could play. Even though he had never played the sport, he was the best player on the ice that day. He loved the game of hockey so much after that game, that he practiced hours on that pond every day. When Alf was about 10 years old, he joined an organized team with his friends. As expected, Alf dominated this league, but wanted more competition. Living in the small town that he did, he was not being recognized. His parents had realized how talented he was, so they moved to Stockholm when he was 15, hoping Alf could continue his greatness. He joined the most competitive league in Stockholm and only became better. When he turned 16, he joined the Swedish Hockey League. The first season he was the leading scorer of the league with 30 goals and 50 assists. On opening night of his second season, Alf had suffered an awful injury, completely tearing his ACL. Unfortunately, near the end of his recovery, Alf fell down the stairs and tore his other ACL. After another long season of rehab, Alf managed to come back stronger than ever. At the age of 19, Alf had broken the season record for most points with 40 goals and 60 assists. After this, he decided to head to North America to pursue his dream of the VHL. Alf's hockey IQ and elite skills had him noticed by the Ottawa Lynx recently. He signed with the Lynx and has been playing on the 4th line, learning from the leaders of the team. He understands that in order to win, he needs to play his role. Alf realized that with his size at the wing, he could develop a more all-around game, so he has put in a lot of work on defense and physicality. His game has been compared to David Pastrnak, with his great scoring ability and playmaking. Alf has always been known as a great teammate and after his journey in the SHL, became a fan favorite in Sweden. His goal is to win this season with Ottawa and continue to grow as a player so next season he can have a big role on a team. diacope and fromtheinside 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/113476-the-swedish-sensation-alf-larsson/ Share on other sites
