There was a report released by Bratislava Times that Bratislava Watchmen GM John Frostbeard privately was outraged that the games were stopped for few days around Christmas Holidays. It included personal attacks towards commissioners, GMs and officials that pushed for this idea to become a reality, calls for abolishment of the VHLE and general raging. To counter this report GM Frostbeard called a Press Conference to put his side of the story to the public.

"It is finally my time to come out and say that I genuinely feel that we are living in a dangerous time where people can say things like that, without any proof and be believed that it is true! I am here to tell you all that I have never screamed or gotten angry at anything hockey or our league related. I am a very peaceful man and I could never attack anyone personally even if I would want. It is not my nature. Sure, I could get frustrated about this completely ********** and outrageously ******** situation that BEARS NO LIMITS! How do you expect me to run my team when we are just told be be sitting ducks and wait until our opponents are fully rested. This is outrageous! I want to make sure that my team spend as much time on the ice as possible so while this whole shenanigans happened, our guys went to train with Ekstraliga team HC Slovan and pushed to improve while everyone else was having their Eggnog and other weird things. I am gonna bring that cup to Bratislava!"

GM afterwards without saying anything went out of the Media room while some journalists were trying to ask him questions and catch him with some insulting remarks.
