#AsktheBouch: Playoffs (random thoughts)

Okay, I have a few hours today to write a quick article for some quick type so once again I am staying with the random thoughts aspect as it seems the easiest for me to write quickly and most bang for the buck at the moment as I always go over the word count but anyways here we go!!!

 

World Juniors cancelled in the RL so what should be done with this years World Juniors here in the VHL? Yes, This is a bit of gag question or what that other term hypothetical since we all know nothing is going to change with the World Juniors in the VHL but I thought I would still ask the question since I am a stickler for random events or stories within a role-playing games.

Not sure if I posted this anywhere other then my Christmas Card to the league but I am hopeful that everyone had a good New Years and are looking to get back to some normality with work around the corner and yes the Playoffs are also here in the VHL.

Playoff did you say? Yes, and may I add that this season seemed to fly since it felt and very much could have been only a week ago I had to decide if I was going to retire at the trade deadline but safe to say that didn’t happen. Now the Prague Phantoms and the good but not great Robert Bouchard face the uphill task of beating the Moscow Menace in the first round (second?) Of the playoffs. How has the regular season fared against them you asked? Well, I remember stating come on after being beaten 9-2 earlier in the season so when I say uphill I mean more like a rock face without any climbing gear.

Look ahead to next year? Nope, I tend not to do that when I am still playing games but one thing I know fore sure Prague can be very different looking next season with retirements and players still required to be signed so all I know is we better make the best of this opportunity while we still have a team that seems like they could surprise a bit.

 

I guess that is it for this week of random thoughts with Robert Bouchard as it better to keep some thought for next week. Hopefully after we beat Moscow or out of the playoffs crying like little babies since we tried our best but it wasn’t simply good enough once again.
