Game of a coin

When you think about a game of hockey, something which you won’t think about is a coin. However, like nearly all games, a game of hockey can also be described like a flip of a coin. For example, when you’re playing you getting a shot on net is like a flawed coin while that puck going in the net is like a die with 10 sides. All of this shows that luck is one of the biggest factors in any sport however, hockey is a sport where this is even more important. A deflection or lucky stick placement can destroy a game for your team or it can make the game in a very favourable position. I think that hockey is a game where if you have no luck, you can’t succeed unless you’re an all-star (people such as Connor McDavid and Sidney Crosby are pretty good at the game for luck to affect them). All of this shows that a big thing in hockey is luck which is what we all need identical to what we need when we flip a coin which is why I call hockey a game of a coin.
