Will3 460
Hello, I am back with part two of this blog. I am now in Bratislava preparing for the new season after a disappointing showing in the World Juniors. I will talk about Bratislava and what I do for fun there next week. Today I will talk about my home Wheeling, West Virginia. Understanding what makes your home cool and interesting locations helps you identify cool and interesting locations when abroad. Wheeling has multiple fantastic places to chill eat and have a great time. Since this is a part history blog, lets talk about some historical locations. Places like West Virginia Independence Hall and the First State Capital Building are the perfect places to about the political tension that resulted in West Virginia being declared the 35th state. If you are looking for relaxing green spaces, Wheeling has over 2050 acres split between two fantastic parks which offer plenty of things to do and see year round. If your hungering for good food, you are in the right city as Wheeling has a reputation for fantastic places to eat. There are plenty of entertainment options like Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center, The Capitol Theatre, and Wesbanco Arena, where my hockey journey began. Overall, Wheeling is a chill city with enough activity to keep things interesting which is why I love it so much.
