Phil 5,119
Well, as the Rock enters his penultimate season, he has pretty high hopes for it! The GM has made some great moves in the off-season to bring in some great talent to play alongside and the Rock himself has trained hard to fight off the decay that somehow effects all players equally in heading into their seventh season - a phenomenon we know as "depreciation". We are only one game into the season, so it's too early to say anything yet, but Calgary came out firing, scoring 5 goals in a big win over LA and putting up 48 shots. The Rock failed to get on the scoreboard, but with 7 shots and 8 hits, he's not too worried. Their big off-season acquisition, Reinhart, was a monster, being involved in all 5 goals and the promising rookie Janser added two apples. Overall it was a great start to the season and the Rock is really feeling very solid in his and Calgary's position.
