Will3 460
Hello, I am William Groves and I back with the next section of my travel/history blog. The Watchmen are currently on a bit of a rough patch but I believe that we will back to our winning ways soon. Today, I will be talking about the city that holds one of our biggest rivals. They say all roads lead to Rome and even my hockey journey has lead me to the heart of Italy. Rome had a a major impact on the European world both politically and religiously. As such there are many tourist sites that you probably know from memory. I wouldn't be talking about those locations. Instead, I will be discussing lesser known places in Rome that I enjoyed. Smaller districts like Quartiere Coppede, Isola Tiberina, and Trastevere all offer amazing things to see and do, great food, and great incite into local life. Via Margutta is a wonderful exclusive neighborhood where I even run into some Gladiators occasionally. If you are looking for an amazing view of the city, Janiculum Hill is my favorite spot. Public parks like Villa Borghese and Park Caffarella are great places do stuff, see stuff and relax. But my favorite place is the Largo di Torre Argentina Cat Sanctuary. Not only is this the spot where Julius Ceasar was assassinated,it is a cat sanctuary. There are many others things I failed to mention but I think you get the point. It is a great place to visit.
