A few nights ago, Tom Eagles, set a new record on the Calgary Wranglers. He recently became the Wrangler with most blocked shots. As of today he has 1002 SB in 462 games played with Calgary which beat the old record holder, Lars Intranquilo, who had a 943 SB in 486 games played.

" It's great setting team records, means your name will live on in history for the team you spent majority of your career in" Tom said "Since I am in my twilight of my career the only thing missing is the cup and that is what I plan on winning before my time is up in Calgary"

Eagles has been having a pretty decent season as he has 40 points in 30 games even though he is one of the older Wrangler members. He is giving it his all to help the Wranglers achieve the elusive cup.

" I might be a veteran member of the team but im definately not playing like one" said Tom " I feel invigorated this season and i'm playing like im much younger. I believe in this group and team which makes me want to play my best for the cup"
