The Title of Saddest Sports Town Now Goes to Washington - The New York Times

Disappointing End to the Season

Moscow- The Menace locker room was full of disappointed players after a heartbreaking four game sweep at the hands of none other than the Vancouver Wolves. Although Sergey was devastated with the lack of performance coming out of himself and his team. He knew that he had to move on, “Life is all about moving on, I just need to move on from this result” Sergey mentioned to the media. Although it might’ve not been the result Sergey had hoped for, he’d exceeded many people's expectations as a rookie this season. Totaling out at 55 points in the regular season while having 15 points in the playoffs. “I would say I’ve had a nice run, now it’s on me to keep my success going. I’ll be working extremely hard to horn my skills and become an even better player than before”

Although it had been a difficult pill to swallow, Sergey accepted the outcome of the playoffs. But he isn’t done yet, he looks forward to being a pain in the ass for other teams. While giving it his all to bring the Continental Cup back home to Moscow.
